When a man proposes, the first thing that runs through the woman's mind is the wedding, about 15 seconds after that thought she will say YES.  But I can guarantee that 9 times out of 10 the big day flashes through that imaginative mind.

So what is next after picturing the PERFECT Big Day????  Planning your engagement photos of course :)

I had been talking with Jenni shortly after her engagement about how she wanted her session to be done.  She had tossed out the idea of a fall shoot near a waterfall, but by the time the leaves had changed the waterfalls were "shut down" for the season.  So then a winter shoot during a snowfall or right after one, the snow glistening, lights at night...  That was her next idea.

So what did we do? A late night, winter session, during a snowfall, surrounded by Christmas lights!!!!  This Bride to be, got exactly what she wanted, and I was so happy to capture this moment with the adorable couple.
