I am going to start doing this a little different.  I could say amazing things about this couple and go on and on, but from here on out, I will let the photos do the talking...

 

Isanti Engagement Photographer~ Rachael & David {Sneak Peek}

Despite the threat of rainy day weather, this session turned out to be one of the most spectacular sessions I have ever shot.  The air was crisp and cool, the ground was damp and the sky was so impressively moody.  Not only was the sky stunning and dramatic, so was Rachael's beautiful horse.  She was absolutely something to look at. 

This location is so near and dear to Rachael's heart which makes it just as important to David.  These are the sessions that make me smile, the ones that have locations or items that my clients have a history with.  Nothing is more personal than photographing a client in their own element.  A place that they feel is like home.

Minnehaha Falls Engagement Photographer~ Danielle and Jake {Sneak Peek}

Oh man am I excited for this wedding next year.  I mean just look at how gorgeous this couple is. 

It was a hot and muggy day for photos, but you wouldn't guess that based on the way these two looked during their session.  Danielle and Jake are truly wonderful people that deserve the love they have for one another.  If you spend a day with these two you can see and feel how warm and genuine their love really is.  Don't let me forget to mention this strappingly handsome little man of theirs.  Parker was a total ham for the camera.  He loved to smile and run around with his camera or Grandma's phone.  Either way he rocked during this session as well.

New Brighton Wedding Photographer~ The Batson's Tie the Knot {Sneak Peek}

I cannot believe the luck we had with weather and color pop for this special wedding.  Teresa and Kyle were actually married a few weeks prior in the San Diego Temple. They had a small reception out in California that day and then a MN reception to follow.  Alec and I were so thrilled to capture the memories here in MN. 

Teresa and Kyle did not exchange vows again while they were here, but other than that it was exactly like a fairytale wedding :) The weather held out until after all of the formals were finished, and by the time the rain did come we were all indoors enjoying some incredible music by DJ Kelly Massey.  She did an incredible job at keeping this reception going.  From the start of soft and romantic dinner music to some of the greatest and latest hits to keep everyone out on the dance floor.  I haven't photographed a wedding recently where the guests all danced this hard.  It was so fun to watch. 

I have known Teresa's family for most of my life and I just adore them all.  Kyle is the perfect addition to this already big, loveable family.  She is also the perfect addition to his incredible family.  What I love most about these two is the purity of their love.  You can see it in the way they watch one another, look into one another's eyes.  It was honestly incredible to witness the two of them all afternoon and evening as they exchanged glances, kisses, long hugs and touches of the hand.
