My little ones~ Tis the season {Sneak Peek}

The Holidays are upon us, and to be quite honest this is my favorite time of year!  I love the music, the smells, the family time, the joy in my children on Christmas morning, and of course the real reason for the season as well!  It warms my heart to see my children grow and learn all of the reasons we celebrate Christmas and other Holidays as well.

I have a few up and coming Christmas and winter sessions, and I always find the time to lock my kids in for something a little special too.  Here is just a peek at the session I did with my little ones.

Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow to all of you!

Stillwater Family Photographer~ Suedbeck Family {Sneak Peek}

Last Saturday I was able to head down to a absolute favorite spot of mine for a super fun family session!  We did a couple location "hops" and this group was a blast to work with.  Didn't matter what I wanted them to do, they were game for anything. Oh and did I mention it was about 33 degrees out!!!!!

Here are some of my favorites from the day!
And no, I couldn't narrow it down.  So it's a little more than a peek.

Thank you Tiffany and family for asking me to be your Photographer.  Not only did I capture memories, but I was also able to capture some special moments (wedding anniversary, an engagement...)

Veterans Day 2013~ Honoring our heroes through my camera {Full Session}

I have two kids in school, one of which goes to a school a little north of my home and the other that is attending one near home for the first time this year.  With a new school comes new things to learn, and do.  I have been blown away by the school my middle child attends, they are gracious and do so much for the community and their students.  This Monday 11/11/2013 was Veterans Day, and they were absolutely participating in this holiday.

My Dad is a Veteran, a Vietnam Army Veteran to be exact.  I couldn't be more proud than to be the daughter of a military man.  When my son brought home some paperwork regarding a Veterans Breakfast taking place at his school I thought to myself why not ask my Dad to come and be a part of this day at his school.  A few reasons were behind this; one, he is a Veteran himself and two, my son would love to have Grandpa at school with him.  So I asked him and he actually agreed to come.  Now I don't mean that to come off like he wouldn't like to come to school functions for my kids, but at this time my Dad is very ill and I just wasn't sure if he would feel up to it.

I packed up my camera equipment not knowing exactly what to expect, but with all of life's little moments I wanted to take photographs to remember this special day.

Through these photos you can see what was done by the school to honor these great heroes.  I honestly know that the photos do not do this day justice.  I cried, not only because there were so many loved ones lost over America's history of wars but also because seeing how a school, a community can come together in a small fashion and make such an impact just blew me away.  I also was saddened to see the joy on my sons face as he watched his Grandfather and other great men and women be honored, just knowing that this might be the last year we get to honor my Dad while he is with us on this earth.

I hope you can feel as touched as I did when you see these photos.  I know that this day will always be special to me, it always has been but this year, well it will be the one that really holds a place in my heart.

To all of the service men and women I thank you!  And to my Father, My hero, I love you and thank you for everything you've ever done to make an impact on my life and also on my children.

Minneapolis Family Photographer~ Bardwell Family {Sneak Peek}

The last session of my crazy busy weekend last week was the Bardwell Family.

This family screams everything that a family should; love, laughter, generosity, kindness.  So much more than that too.

I come across so many walks of life, and so many different types of people and families, but each one has a story.  Oh did I love hearing some of the Bardwell's stories.  They were so easy to work with and just a great family to be fortunate enough to come into contact with.  Did I forget to mention extremely good looking too?  They are all so photogenic and just naturally good looking!

Here is a couple of the most vivid and beautiful shots from their session on November 2nd.

 Thank you Angela, for welcoming me into your family's warm embrace as we did your session!
You are all such amazing individuals.

Blaine Family Photographer~ H Family {Sneak Peek}

Remember a week ago when I had back to back sessions?  I sure do!!!!

Well this adorable family of 6 (5+ baby on the way) met me at one of my all time favorite photo spots and we had a blast.

I loved working with them all, they helped keep things fun and they didn't complain once about moving from area to area.  Even pregnant and in heels, Kristina kept up without missing a step.

Here are just a few great shots from their session.

Thank you all for the fun morning, and also for being soooooooo patient while waiting for your photos.

Blaine Couples Photographer~ Adam & Liz {Sneak Peek}

Last weekend was crazy busy with back to back sessions, but hey that's the way I like it :)

I had the chance to work with some incredible families and couples, the laughs and stories shared were remarkably memorable and that time spent with each of them will forever be something I can remember and cherish.  Thank you all for that!

My last session of the evening, right around sunset was Adam and Liz's, it was so much fun and these two are so sweet on one another.  I love seeing a couple that truly has that deep connection.  The photos reflect that emotion and that love they share, see for yourselves...

Thank you Adam & Liz for braving the cold, and for your patience with all of the walking!!!
