I had the chance last week to meet and work with this adorable family. We got a perfect and clear night. The sunset was beautiful, the lake was super calm and the woods were quiet.
Alyssa, Craig and their gorgeous daughter Emma met me over in Lino Lakes for their family session. I was so happy to work with this group, they were very laid back and sweet. I look forward to working with them again.

This beautiful baby girl is no doubt one of the prettiest babies I have ever laid eyes on. Her mother is gorgeous, so I truly couldn't expect anything else for Brooke. Her Daddy Mitch is pretty handsome too, so she certainly has the looks.
I typically work with newborns within the first 10 days of life. This is when they are the sleepiest and will cooperate the best. Now Brooke decided how this session would go, no matter what attempts were made. In the 2.5 hours she was with me, she slept for a total of 3 min. I do not mean in a row either. Even with very little sleeping, she was so calm and cooperated the same way a newborn does in their deepest sleep. She really is perfect and was for her session as well.
Newborns often tend to be very squishy, wrinkle covered and flakey skinned. Not this little lady, she had the most stunning face and little body, just a perfect newborn all around. I cannot even begin to exaggerate this, just take a look for yourselves.
Thank you so much Stevie and Mitch for having me as Brooke's newborn photographer. I cannot wait to see her back again for her 3 month photos. Your family is so precious and I adored the time I was able to spend with you all.
These little boys are growing like weeds. Every time I see them they have grown 6 inches and their personalities are even more noticeably different from one another. Leo and Oliver had a super fun and exciting 3rd birthday party, filled with family, friends, fun and construction zones!
Heather and Joe do the best job at décor and themed parties, every detail just stands out and ties together. I enjoyed watching the boys play and laugh this year, but really the cake was the best part. Look at these cakes! Heather has a friend that made these, they fit the theme so perfectly and really added the right touch.

I had the pleasure of capturing this sweet boy and his momma while he was still an inside baby! Just a few short days later he arrived and then I was able to capture these precious newborn photos! I loved working with Jeremy, he was a calm, and sleepy little boy. Up until the end of the session that is, then he was wide awake.
Tarah and her husband Dan, along with their three older children; MacKenzie, Dom and Tori accompanied baby Jeremy to his studio session. I am glad they all came as it was fun to work with the now family of 6 on more than just newborn shots. Little Jeremy is so loved, it was great watching the interaction each of his siblings have with him. No doubt he will be spoiled by all of them :)
